Registration and Absences

Registration

Our registration period is 8:50am to 9:00am. If a child arrives after this time without a valid explanation, she/he will be registered late which counts as a half-day unauthorised absence. Late arrival for your child may cause disruption for him/her and other children. Lateness for medical reasons or absence for medical reasons counts as an authorised absence.

Absences

If your child is absent from school. legally you must inform the School on the first day of absence, please phone and leave a message, if not the office staff may phone you !

On your child's return send a note giving full details of the reason for the absence so that the teacher is aware of any problems.

Advance permission must be sought from the Headteacher if you wish to withdraw your child for a holiday during term time. Request forms are available from the Office.
