Other Areas

We have a large hall that is used extensively throughout the school day and is available for use by members of the local community out of school hours.

The whole school congregates here daily for assembly.
A good range of gymnastic apparatus and a clear floor space allows for challenging and enjoyable PE lessons.
School lunches are prepared daily in the adjoining kitchens and served here.
Our school production is staged in the hall during the winter term and is always well attended.

Local clubs and organisations find the use of this facility invaluable. Bardfield Brass currently rehearse here weekly.
We have a good sized playground and playing fields at the back of the school that are supplemented by a range of play equipment. These facilities can be used by the older children during break and lunchtimes (weather permitting).

The younger children use a smaller playground at the front of the school during these times.

This space leads to PE lessons that include football, cricket, hockey and netball.

Please look at the outside images of our school for more information on these facilities.
Music is an important component of our school and we have an excellent school band who get various opportunites to perform throughout the school year.

Here in the Music Room we provide the following lessons:
Flute
Piano
Clarinet
Violin
Cello
Brass
Guitar
We are very fortunate to have a swimming pool within our school grounds. During the summer term swimming lessons are provided for the children throughout the school day.

For the first time last summer the pool was opened to members of the local community, while supervised by qualified staff, during the first 2 weeks of the summer holidays.
