HAYLING ISLAND - YEAR 6 TRIP
FRIDAY - left at 1.00pm. Mrs Barney phoned at 2.40pm - stuck in traffic outside Guildford. Hoping to be back at 5.00pm!!
THURSDAY/FRIDAY - All still eating very well.
* Tooth fairy has visited Jasmine & Harry since Wednesday!
* Girls commended on their abseiling skills Thursday! NATURALS!
* Toby has lost his voice!
* Some of the girls got soaked with water yesterday.
* Mrs Barney has struggled to get them up again this morning!!
Hoping to leave early afternoon.
WEDNESDAY 23rd May 2007 - Mrs Barney had difficulty in waking them all up this morning, as they've been bery active! Been to the gift shop too today!
Today the weather is wonderful, sun is shining - cream, water and hats used!
*Girls - am: Rifle shooting & archery, pm: fencing
*Boys - am: orienteering - initiative test, pm: climbing
It's a knockout this evening! *apparently some of the boys had forfeits (v.wet lots of water involved)
Children's rating of Mill Rythe and food so far = 10/10
TUESDAY 22nd May 2007 - awoke to fantastic weather, all have participated and thoroughly enjoyed an active day orienteering, abseiling and taking part in a coastal walk. tired but all intact!
MONDAY 21st May 2007 - arrived safely, all slept well and ate really well!
