Class 1
Welcome to Class 1.
Within our classroom there are water and sand play areas as well as a creative area for gluing and painting.We have 2 role play areas - one is a writing area (currently an office) - the other varies (currently Jack or the Giant's house).
The children take an active role in planning and changing these areas.
The classroom has many display boards to show off the childrens work and so gives them a sense of pride in what they have acheived.
Each term the children choose a number or nursery rhyme and they decide how this will be created on the wall. In the past this wall has been Five Speckled Frogs, Ten in a Bed, Jack and Jill and Humpty Dumpty.
These displays ensure that our classroom is a bright and welcoming area appealing to children.
As well as the classroom the children have use of an outside area which can be used at any time of the day.Within this area is a playhouse which is a source of great entertainment and inspiration to the children.
