Hello Great Bardfield School . I love your website . I am so glad to see you are all still well and happy in your school community. I taught class 1 at your school in 1973-4 and I thought it was a lovely place to be. I used to live in Panfield and loved to drive to school every day in my VW Beetle through the beautiful Essex countryside. I left Gt Bardfield School to look after my baby son who is now 33years old. We all now live in Fremantle in Western Australia and one day I hope to show your school to my new baby grand daughter -Isabel Morrison .
Wishing you all well .

India, Elliot and Olivia would like to say hello to everyone at Great Bardfield school. They are enjoying living in Turkey and have seen many animals including tortoises, snakes, scorpions and millipedes. They live in a house on the beach and go swimming every day. I was a member of the school, from 1944 to 1950.I was born on bendlowes rd. the then nr. 10. I moved away with my parents in 1954, to Witham. After that I joined the R.A.F. for 6 yrs, and then emigrsted to the Netherlands. I was very surprised to find info. on the school. My last teacher: Miss Duffield.

My first visit to this website, and I think its very good. I particularly like the picture of Mrs Williams, a very true likeness!
I was involved in the IOW trip, and would like to say that we all had a really fantastic time, and the children were all absolutely brilliant, and I look forward to seeing some of their work on this site.

I would like to add my thanks to those already passed on to the schol. The effort the staff and the children put into being such excellent hosts to the visitors on 7th October 03 was well recieved. They were most impressed with the work going on and the way the school was prepared to open its doors.

we think the website created is fab our family in NZ has been able to view the work and it means so much to be able to communicate with them and share in all aspects and experiences of our lives, We can only hope this is recipricated on the other sideof the globe! support for our sons special needs has been second to none and we will surely miss this in our move. Gt Bardfield school has been a solid foundation for us and we will really miss you all.THANK YOU.

Thank you Mrs Jo Davies and children for all the hard work you have already done in setting up our school web site. It is very informative. I look forward to seeing more of your super work in the gallery...especially some of the work from the Isle of Wight educational journey.
